Savings account opened by a parent /custodian for minor (minor does not have access to account) Uniform Transfer to Minor Account.
This accounts holds funds that belong strictly to the minor, and will be turned over to the minor when he/she turns 18 (custodian must initiate this - TCFCU won’t do this automatically).
Only one custodian allowed.
Joint Account with Parent/Guardian
This is a savings account which is opened by the minor with a joint owner (adult over 18) - typically the minor’s parent(s) or guardian(s).
Minor will have full access to funds in the account and can perform transactions that we allow.
No custodian like in an UTMA account.
Typically for minors ages 14-17.
TC Good Start Checking Account (age 14-25)
Anyone age 14-25 can open (whether a student or not)
Ages 14-17 must have a qualifying adult owner too;
